I grew up in Mexicali Baja California, Mexico. My husband, two children and I moved to Albuquerque in 2002. In 2005 I continued my formal education and became a bilingual teacher in 2010. Throughout my career I have worked in different schools and districts in 1st, 2nd and combo classes as a dual language teacher. In 2014 I earned a Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am very motivated to teach students to continue to learn in their first language as well as teach childrens to learn in a second language. In my free time I enjoy watching movies with my family and I am looking forward to continuing my education.
